Star Born

"What of our children—the second and third generations born on this new world? They will have no memories of Terra's green hills and blue seas. Will they be Terrans—or something else?"

Dalgard Nordis starts his journey of manhood, going away from his civilization into strange lands. With him comes his brother by knife sure as a friend and as a guide. They intend to explore a city which once was inhabited by the race known as Those Others, who enslaved Sssuri’s race. On their way, they notice runners in the dark. The runners are nocturnal creatures, but something caused them to immigrate on a new territory. Wondering what has happened, Dalgard and Sssuri travel to the central plains. On their way, they notice a small group of duocoms, and finally find a place where they will wait for the runners. As the night fell, they noticed a streak of fire across the sky.

What could that be?

On the other hand, terran colonists on Astra don’t know about the things that happened on Terra. They don’t know that Terra is free again.

This story is about the beginnings of human exploration of the stars and the universe. It follows the adventures of Dalgard Nordis and his friend Sssury on their way to the ruins of the city. Also, it shows the changes that happened on Terra.
