The Taj Mahal is one of the most photographed buildings in the world. Millions of tourist a year fill their camera phones with quick snaps, while the pros do their best to find a view, an angle, a point of view that has none been done to death.


Famed Photographer Janet Engelhard’s Take on the Taj is a look at those angles, those points of view that even if you have been to the Taj, you may have missed.


Chances are you even missed the entire Red Fort. The family home from where the construction of the Mother’s tomb, the Taj Majal, could be seen across the river. It was here too that the Father would spend his final days, pining for the wife and tomb he would never see again.
