Jang Soo-myung was born in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and now she is writing in Seogwipo City, Jeju Island. The children’s story she wrote won the prize in the Children’s Literature Criticism and Children’s Literature, and she also received the “Saebeot Literary Award.” There are many collection of her works such as Teacher Bu, the Chief of the Goblins, My Name Is “I Am Sorry” and Camellia Flower, etc. Jang is currently writing a series of children̓s story in Seogwipo Newspaper, and is writing a life colomn for Jemin Ilbo.
