Teaching Language Classes using iBooks Author and the iPad

This is the book I wish I had when I started using iPads in the classroom and creating content.


This can be a starter kit for any language teacher new to teaching with the iPad and thinking about how to make the most of content and the device. 


The purposes of this book are to: 


show how interactive books made with iBooks Author can promote language learning 
offer hints for building your book that take maximum advantage of the iBooks app 
offer helpful external resources that expand the types of activities possible within an interactive book
offer general app suggestions and ideas. The suggested apps are free unless otherwise noted. 



iPads and interactive books created with iBooks Author can do great things, but the creativity and innovation of the teacher and the content is what makes them shine.
