This book presents four photographic series by Dan Ferro. They are abstract images of texture, color, and detail.


The 15 images in the salvaged series are from acres of discarded farm implements just north of the Interstate 80 in central Iowa.


Reducing the range of focus for the 12 images of the string series led to questioning how subject and background are defined.


The impetus for the 12 images in the terraMarks series started in 2006 while planning a family vacation using Google Maps.
