The Adventure

The adventure begins when Jessica's family must evacuate their flooded house, their dogs Sheba and Shiloh are left behind. The dogs swim for their lives, face a cruel farmer and make a new friend as they try to get back to Jessica. The author, Jessica Davis wrote this book when she was ten years old and was a recipient of the Rebecca Caudill's Young Author's Award for this amazing story.
