The Athenaeum

Founded in 1824, the Athenaeum club in London has been a meeting place for those who enjoy the life of the mind. Over the years its members have included Prime Ministers, Archbishops of Canterbury, distinguished scientists, lawyers, artists, writers, civil servants, doctors and
academics. In its history 52 members have won the Nobel Prize. This collection of drawings is designed to celebrate its members.
