The Blank Page

The Blank Page

On May 8th, 2021, I was sitting next to my grandpa in ICU on the
break of losing the one man who called me “His sweet Child”. At that
moment my feelings, my emotions and struggles came up to the
surface. I had some big shoes to fill in; but I did not realize those shoes
were filled in already. Grandpa filled those shoes in for me, and if
anyone can see what love can do for a person it is to make them feel
wanted.

When Grandpa passed away on May 10th, 2021, he reminded me
you can always start over. The Blank Page is a reminder when we go
through these emotional phases in our lives, and in people’s lives it is
to make us alive and well. We tend to hide our emotions but our
feelings make us part of who we are.
