You arrived.
Something else noticed.
“A slow-burn nightmare that gets under your skin and doesn’t let go.”
“Tense, unsettling, and impossible to put down.”
Colton and Emma took the job for the quiet.
A remote hunting and fishing lodge deep in the Canadian wilderness.
Six months cut off from the world.
No distractions. No noise. No people.
Just the two of them.
At first, everything feels exactly as it should.
The lodge is clean. Systems are running. The forest is still.
Too still.
There are no animals.
No wind across the lake.
No signs that anything has passed through in days.
And then… something changes.
Footsteps that stop where they shouldn’t.
Rooms that feel wrong without anything being out of place.
A presence inside the lodge that doesn’t follow rules.
And something else outside.
Watching.
Learning.
Waiting.
“Blends psychological thriller, survival horror, and sci-fi in a way that feels fresh and deeply unnerving.”
What begins as isolation turns into something far worse…
A system they don’t understand.
A place that doesn’t let people leave.
A line between inside and outside that was never meant to be crossed.
Because the longer they stay…
the more the lodge begins to change them.
And once you’re part of it...
you don’t get to choose what happens next.
THE CARETAKERS is a gripping psychological thriller that blends survival horror, mind-bending tension, and relentless dread.
Perfect for fans of Blake Crouch, Annihilation, and slow-burn suspense that doesn’t let go.
“If you like your thrillers smart, eerie, and quietly terrifying, this one delivers.”
