Patrick Casey has firsthand knowledge of living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), having navigated its physical and mental obstacles since his diagnosis at age fifteen. He transformed that journey into The Diabetic Superhero: Type Wonder, an imaginative story that encourages young readers to embrace their unique superpowers and persevere through health challenges.
