The Ecosystem Factory

The Ecosystem Factory is a factory powered by eccentric humans on a small island for the purpose of growing the nature covers and powers the world, so that it may continue to sustain life. When it is suddenly torn down, the family seeks to find out why. "The Ecosystem Factory" is a short story from the short story collection book "When Life Strikes Midnight." In more detail: A family living on an island called Beaverlick travels to an eccentric island named Accident. While on vacation, they explore the foreign place they've never been to, and visit the tallest building in the world: The Ecosystem Factory, a factory the citizens of Accident use to create the plantlife of the planet to continue the planet's survival, and as a result, that of the human race. However, when the building is mysteriously torn down, it strikes a chord of sorrow in the hearts of the visiting family that is soon put to rest when they learn the reason for the exaggerated tear-down.
