There are some things that just do not burn. Gold and silver, for instance. Fire and water only purify, and tumultuous earthquakes can just make these metals rise closer to the surface. Some humans fit that description. Adversity and pain seem to peel away the chaff of life, leaving only the nucleolus of survival. Like being in a slippery pit, they simply refuse to die and manage to claw their way to the surface, regardless of upbringing or parentage.



Master Painter

The little fellow managed to get himself born after four sisters had preceded him (ladies first, you know!), but when he finally made it, he tried to make up for lost time. When he got past the stage of tasting the scraps of paper he could reach, he realized there was more to be done with them than putting them in his mouth.

Author Bio



Ms. Joann Klusmeyer is the daughter of pioneer missionary parents. She grew up in rural Arkansas and learned and served in the little country church her father built and then pastored. Ms. Klusmeyer is a prolific author with over 50 titles to her credit (and counting).
