The Expert Beginner

Danny Roth is a writer and bridge coach who specializes in teaching bridge to beginners and intermediates.  An experienced and successful player at club, county and international level, he represented Great Britain at the European Pairs’ Championships in 1987.  He has written more than  twenty other books on the game and is the author of the other three books in this series,  The Expert Improver, The Expert Advancer and The Expert Club Player, which continue from this book, first published in 1993 but now updated to accommodate modern ideas and practices
