The 'Idea‪'‬

Autonomous mechs are swarming around Carmedius, tasked to 'clean up' the 'rebel' countryside, to prevent the resurgence of a conflict 'resolved' decades ago. There remains to be, active resistance from the 'tribes' that populated this former nation, beginning as simple farmers, they found the means to defend themselves.

But there are thousands of urban families trying to leave. Hiding in derelict buildings, underground shelters, forests. They move searching for safety, slowly, carefully, constantly in danger. They cannot fight back. The 'urbans' lived and worked in these former towns and cities, turned to rubble years ago. They had no guns or bombs, there was no need to fight. They just needed their hearts, minds, bodies and the tools of life, a peaceful people.
