The Interregnum Conspiracy

The Interregnum Conspiracy is a fast-paced political thriller. It takes place during the interregnum between a contentious Presidential election and the inauguration of the next President. It is a time of growing tension across the country, especially with a President who is determined to stay in power at all cost. If litigation and faithless electors failed to tip the election in his favor, President Turnball has devised a plan of last resort to keep 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as his home address. And he has found willing supporters to carry out this plan.
When FBI Special Agent Brian Shaver receives a tip from a small-town reporter regarding a plot called "Operation Succession," their lives take a dangerous turn. With the young reporter in FBI protective custody, Special Agent Shaver finds his desire to keep her safe is becoming more and more person for him. With the clock ticking, the FBI races against time to stop a conspiracy which could take out the top levels of the incoming administration, and bring those responsible to justice.
