The Little Gnome

During the 1960's, Constance Shore ("Connie" to her friends, but "Nanna" to her grandchildren - of which I am one) lovingly wrote and hand-painted fairy stories for her grandchildren.  These she would read as bedtime stories, and we were utterly captivated.


This is the story of a little gnome who is so bad tempered and naughty that he gets banished from Fairyland, allowed to return only when he has performed three good deeds...
