Mafulu is the name used for the people of Mambule. They have moved to Port Moresby since the World War II. They live in the Goilala Subdistrict in the Central Province of Papua New Guinea. Grouped in communities they have inhabited Auga, Chirima, Dilava and Vanapa river valleys, inland from Yule Island, north of Port Moresby, and south of Mount Albert Edward in the Wharton Range of the central cordillera.

This book is about Mafulu people. It gives detailed information about them. The author provides an overview of their customs, beliefs, tradition, social interactions and behavior. This book is written based on the research conducted in the 1910.
