The Marrying Type

Steve Chambliss just may be the sexiest carpenter in San Francisco. At least that’s what TV talk show host Gwen Talbot thinks when Steve arrives at her apartment to repair her bedroom door. And when Steve agrees to appear on Gwen’s show, all of San Francisco agrees with her. Before long, he’s got bands of groupies chasing him through the city and offering themselves up to him.

Steve finds the attention amusing, but there’s only one woman in town who turns him on: Gwen. The trouble is, Gwen wants to settle down, marry, start a family. She has no interest in a casual fling. She’s looking for a man willing to make a commitment, and Steve is not that man. He treasures his independence. Gwen and Steve want each other—but they also want very different things. How can Gwen allow herself to love Steve when he’s warned her that he’s not the marrying type?
