Vincent is desperate for a job, any job, so when Whiskey offers him a position tending bar, it seems like a dream come true. But Whiskey has a secret that shows up in the form of Joubert, a coffee-skinned, flirtatious slice of gorgeousness straight from New Orleans.

Joubert has a message for Whiskey, one that Whiskey doesn't want to hear, but when the old darkness follows Joubert to the streets of Memphis, Vincent shifts to feline form-- and ruins his best shoes in the process.

Whiskey has spent 20 years running from his past, now his past has caught up to him, and it may take Joubert and Vincent as prisoners.
