The Night Bus Before Christmas

Morgan King had everything she'd needed. Until one dreadful night when a significant piece of it was cruelly ripped away.  

Two years on, she really should've been over the pain and turmoil that threw her life into a blender like a heartbreak milkshake. And she was. Really. What she'd never gotten over, though, was the change. To her life. To her soul. To the very air through which she moved.

The night bus had become her salvation—with a regular driver who knew her quirks and desolations. A distraction from everything that wouldn't allow her to sleep. Although Morgan had found the deterrence to her thoughts by accident, it was one she'd happily repeat for as long as she needed.
