The People Without Faces

Alden Schwartz, a 72-year-old Vietnam War veteran and widower, first

Ellen Clarke, whose frequent visits to the television fill her with fear

and agitation. Alden scrutinizes the legitimacy of the claims and whirlwind of

fearful messages heralding from his neighbor and the media outlets. His truthseeking

journey clashes with a unique set of fears, which creates a crisis of faith

and forces him to question his trust in God and his hope for humanity. To Alden,

the world has become a crowd of faceless people.

An unexpected tragedy, ensuing grief, and ongoing restrictions leave Alden

second-guessing his fortitude and ability to fulfill the final request of a deceased

friend, an appeal to solve a mystery that spans two decades. Two quirky, longtime

friends encourage Alden to embark on a mission to carry a message of love to

an unknown man halfway across the country. Will he lay aside his fear and trust
