The president has a ghost problem—and they're not exactly bipartisan.
Patty Pitypander never expected the Oval Office to come with so many… former occupants. But the White House is crawling with cranky dead presidents and first ladies—collectively known as the Potusgeists—and they're convinced she's the worst thing to happen to America since the invention of decaf.
Patty tries to ignore their unsolicited afterlife advice, but the ghosts aren't taking the hint. Taft shows up in her bathtub (naked, of course), Abigail Adams dries her laundry in the East Room, and Mrs. Lincoln has developed a worrying fondness for sharp objects.
And the living aren't much better. Her staff is plotting, her approval ratings are tanking, and Patty is starting to suspect the dead might actually be easier to manage.
Now she's caught between political backstabbing and supernatural meddling. To survive her first term—let alone her first month—Patty will have to outwit the living, charm the dead, and somehow keep the country from falling apart.
Being president is hard. Being president in a haunted house is impossible.
