The Ransom

When Alex Shazier wakes up handcuffed in a filthy apartment, she tries convincing her pair of captors to release her by warning them they have snatched the wrong person. Afterall, she's the daughter of a U.S. senator, and people will be searching for her.

But does anyone actually realize that the senator's wayward daughter is missing? Alex soon discovers her abduction relates to her father's position. In order to foil her abductors' attempts at blackmailing her father,  Alex hatches an escape plan that could not only end her father's career but end Alex's life.
