I was a professional doer. In many ways, an addict. So caught up in accomplishing tasks and trying to become indispensable that the very thought of delegating a task to someone else was a sign of weakness and failure to me. I did it all, wanted to do it all, and was proud that I could...right up until I couldn't anymore. This book is the story of how I learned to delegate while serving as a church Youth Pastor. Over the span of six months, I went from being an obsessive workaholic to being able to delegate the entirety of our youth ministry services to my volunteer staff.
