The Wildlands opens with a small family of gorillas lead by Ambam living peacefully on a remote southern island in the Ankhari Isles. However, when a stranger washes up on their shores, Ambam will struggle to keep his family safe from those looking for this stranger, and the dangerous times that lay ahead.
