Kurt and Lucy were high school sweethearts who were married right out of high school. Their love seemed perfect, but Lucy couldn't deal with the amount of time that Kurt spent traveling and working. One evening after returning from a business trip, he comes home to an empty house and a note telling him she's leaving him and their marriage is over. She stays in their hometown with all their friends and family while he quickly leaves for the city.
