Three Mischievous Dogs

Peggy Anne McLeese is a teacher and writer who lives deep in the heart of the Canadian forest with her husband Marc, her daughter Fiona, her five dogs, and her cat, Cairo. Grouse and Coco are the newest dog additions to the family and they will, along with Cairo, feature prominantly in future stories. This book was inspired by Fiona, who woke up one morning near Christmas and started telling her mom a dream. Recognizing a good story idea when she hears one, Peggy quickly jotted down the dream which, eventually became this book that you now hold in your hands. Three mischievous dogs is Peggy's second book as an author and her first as an illustrator.


Fiona Anne Fournier is nine years old. She loves living in the woods with her mom and dad and pets. Since she has no brothers or sisters, she thinks of her pets as sibblings and, though she wouldn't want Rosie or Laggan to know it, Mackenzie is her favorite dog because, she is crazy! This is the second book that Fiona has inspired and it is also the second book that she has helped to illustrate.
