Becks rented the country cottage in Ireland to live out a long-held dream of writing in Ireland surrounded by history and myth and some good Irish beer. But the difficulties of the real world followed her to the Emerald Isle along with a frustrating case of writer's block. Deadlines, business issues, and a novel that decides not to write itself leave Becks wandering the fields, looking for inspiration. Or even just a little of that magic she'd hoped to capture on her trip.

Hearing laughter in a fallow field, mysterious mists crawling along the rich dark soil, and a warning from the local pub owner leave her wondering what magic those fields really hold. What creatures lay beyond that thin mist. What dangers taunt her during the dark nights with music that calls her to the dance.

Becks discovers much more than she bargained for on her trip to a country cottage in Ireland. Including a threat that feels all too real. And a call to a world that, if she dares enter, could lead down a path to her destruction.
