Today's America

The 21st Century may be the age of technology, but it is also the time of constant strife and division in America. The last couple of decades have seen an alarming climb in race wars and claims of police brutality. Because of this, two groups have risen to provide support and awareness: Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter.


The history of the police force may be surprising to some, and perhaps its origins have something to do with how people have been treated in the past – and why so many changes are being made to departments across the nation. In this book, we explore the history and origins of the police, Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter, and how politics has played a role in today’s strife. 


Is there any hope of reconciling and making peace? There must be if we, as a nation of diverse nationalities and religions are going to survive. But it will take everyone doing their part to heal the rift and bridge the gap. We the People will need to stand United instead of divided.
