BOOK SUMMARY As a teenager Cassidy Holland had always prayed for a better life. Her troubled past had made her loose all her faith in men. Shed promised herself that she would never get close to another man but all that changed when she met Dominick Desoto. She thought shed finally found the one until she came home to find another woman in her house. Feeling betrayed and all alone she turned to the one person whod always been there for her, her childhood friend, David. But as Cassidy begin to spend more time with him, she realize that, for David, the line between lovers and friends had blurred. In the end, her heart is torn between wanting to love her best friend and the fear that she would never be good enough for him.
