An extraterrestrial biological being, or EBE, named Uncle Edgar is given a task that started fourteen thousand years ago.

Uncle Edgar, from a far away planet in a distant star system, is given the responsibility of helping humans. Not only must he assist them to learn survival from extinction, he is bridled with the need to help them evolve to the standards of the Universal Community.

Will humanity survive? Will they learn the standards necessary to join the universe in its quest for peace and cooperation? Or, will the aggressors of the universe win the coming battles?
