Untying my Wings

A thousand miles, I walked,

None in my way, I found.

The rain stole my tears,

The dust hid my scars.

When I was choking amidst

Misty life, poetry knocked at my

Doors, opened a new world.

And the inky pen

Polished my soul with

Blazing words that sung love and life,

And now I unchained my wings to fly above

All the pain and nightmares,

Higher and higher.
