Up on the Peaks is a level 4 book in the Sound Out Phonics Based Chapter Books series, which feature six levels of phonics progression that gives students multiple opportunities to practice specific phonics skills. Level 4 focuses on one-syllable words with short and long vowels, consonant blends and digraphs, diphthongs, silent letters, and controlled vowels.
