Walking Away

To the outside world it appears as if Mike Kassler has it all; a beautiful wife, a nice home, a good job. Everthing seems to be going his way, but Mike can't help feeling that something is wrong. Something inside him knows it is all beginning to unravel.

It all finally comes apart one night when he discovers his wife's infidelity. Shaken, he decides to walk away determined to get a fresh start. He files for divorce and moves out while adopting a new attitude towards work. But there is still an emptiness in his new life. One morning Connie inadvetantly steps into this void.

Initialy only looking to befriend her, the more Mike sees of this unpretentious woman the more he falls under her beguiling spell. His recent break up, however, has left his confidence and self esteem badly shaken and unsure of how to express his growing affection for her. Connie also has reason to be leery of entering into a new relationship.

Slowly, as they get to know each other, a bond is formed between them. Just when all seems to be going well, a face from Mike's past arrives seeking his help.
