Crystal Duran never imagines that her strange and disturbing dreams could lead to unexpected adventures. But when she meets the enigmatic Jesse Dawnrunner, her life takes a turn she never expected and she finds herself in the midst of mysteries and magic she couldn't have foreseen. Her friend and boss, Tommy and an oil-and-water mix of characters round out the cast that make it possible to save the regal animal, the Wapiti, that Crystal has come to love.
