Wellsburg Days

Contrary to their anticipation of a boring summer in their small town, three boys find themselves involved in a murder mystery after their town’s annual summer celebration called “Wellsburg Days.” They find a body by a creek outside their town and help the small town Marshal as much as they can, discover who the victim is and who committed the murder. A lot of focus is also on the Marshal who puzzles through the possibilities until finally solving the case. The story is set in small town Iowa in the summer of 1959.
