Everyone’s good while sleeping. We find ourselves looking at the age-old battle. Only it’s for real—the criminals are real, the victims are real, everything is real. Even with the fact that the real crimes exist, the people who should care, the cops, turn the other cheek. It seems like a typical cop thing to say, “Well, there’s nothing we can do.” That’s exactly what they do say.
