Whatever We Envision is a science fiction short story by Carrie Wexford.

In the year 2145, Sheila Perequin awakens from suspended animation to find that the human race has dwindled to 1500 people living in two dozen underground bases.  The last Galactic and Low Earth Orbit Program astronaut leads the survivors in this post-apocalyptic world.
