Wildfire at Lake Elsinore

A series of more than 100 dramatic images of the 2013 wildfire that began in the Cleveland National Forest.  The flames burned down out of the Ortega Mountains, threatening residents and homes of the town of Lake Elsinore on the south-western shore of the lake by the same name.  These photos show the menace of fire and the heroic nature of the people who risk their lives to fight that enemy, saving lives and property.
