Wombridge Primary School

Wombridge Primary School is situated within a deprived urban setting surrounded by the relative affluence of a large rural county. We are an average size primary with approximately 250 pupils taught in mixed age classes, with numbers increasing each year. 

We place high emphasis on our school values of Lead- Learning, Enjoyment, Aspiration and Determination. The children know it is our priority to equip them to be safe and happy, now and in their future, whatever that may be.

In 2015 the school became an Apple Distinguished School, by that time 80 children had achieved a GCSE equivalent in IT, we had been awarded the national anti bullying award for 3 years running and no child had been excluded for 2 years. 

In 2018 the school become an Apple Distinguished School once again, 112 children had achieved an IT GCSE equivalent and we had been awarded the anti bullying award for 5 years running.
