You Deserve This

Detective Devon Darcy has spent the last few years in her sleepy New England town cleaning up drug overdoses and accidental deaths. But when she and her partner catch a case where a drug dealer is brutally tortured to death, her days transform into tracking down the murderer. Before she settles in to figure out what's going on, her department is rocked by more deaths, each nastier than the previous one. Tied to chairs, force-fed bleach, burned with cigarettes, doused with gasoline, and lit on fire, each death is nastier than the last and titillates the newspapers a little more. 

Darcy doesn't care who the victims are. Her job is to protect and serve--and that means finding out who is responsible for these deaths no matter how much the public is calling for this vigilante to finish what they started.
