You Have Three Selves; Simply the Clearest Model of the Whole Person, 2nd ed. Vol. 1: Orientation

A map is not the territory; yet, the better the map, the easier to navigate the territory. Compose your own vision of the whole-person. This is source code for the human psyche, the nature of human nature.

The Three Selves is a simpler, accessible, elegant; yet, comprehensive, model of the whole person. In visual art and Gestalt psychology, we have foreground and background. In our psyche, conscious self is foreground. In our psyche, the basic self and high self are analogous to background. B/s is our lower frequency psychic background. H/s is our higher frequency psychic background. The 3S model BRINGS PSYCHOLOGY TO LIFE.

Q: Are basic self and high self our sub- and unconscious? Yes, our sub- and unconscious are our psychic background. The main difference is, if you work with God as my Partner,’ you can learn to communicate with these internal parts of your psyche. They are not mechanical; they are LIVING entities you can get to know.

Again, in waking adults, in a nutshell, the main reflection of soul in the human experience is:

1) A middle, rational, awake, aware, conscious Self. It may be either Thinking or Feeling-dominant.

Self with a capital “S” is supported by two subordinate helper selves:

2) A lower frequency basic self. 22 or more names exist: immune system self, inner child, etheric body intelligence, Habit Body, etc.

3) A higher frequency high self; or, Guardian Angel. It provides access to higher spiritual Beings, on an as-needed basis. High self is our capacity to connect with the Bigger Me, to realize 'God as my Partner’—as conscious Self chooses to connect and partner with its own Divinity.

Three Selves is the Western version of Ho'oponopono, Hawaiian shamanism, Huna-Kahuna. Hawaiian Kahuna priests preserved this model of the whole person from possibly Lemurian times. The human experience is emphatically placed in a the context of soul having a human experience, including reincarnation. In the Westernized 3S, the Kahuna emphasis on self-forgiveness persists.

The 3S is body-based, not theoretical, nothing "quantum" here. How the 3S develop connects strongly with the Waldorf-methods stage-developmental view of Thinking over seven year periods.
