Zoonosis

Society is beginning to crumble under the impact of a virus with unprecedented symptoms and capabilities, not to mention its less dramatic symptoms like fever and ravenous hunger. The writing is on the wall, and a lot of people have stopped asking "How do we fight this?" in favor of asking "How do we survive this?"

And somehow, meetings and rules and procedures manage to make even the end of the world boring.
