This was a fun story with a woman protagonist. Jennie is really too smart, and everything comes her way just a tad too easily. Jennie Baxter cleverly solves mysteries, has a mysterious way of attracting friends, and is pretty as well. Plus, there's a sweet Cinderella-type storyline woven into the plot.
