21 Reasons Why No Believer or Pastor Should Be Poor or Remain Poor: Behind Everything Outstanding Is Understanding

You were not born again to live an average life or a life of mediocrity or to suffer again but to reign again. You were not born to make a living but to make a difference. You were not born again to live from pay- cheque to pay-Cheque or to maintain the status quo but to walk in financial dominion, dominating in every field. (Genesis 1:26-28) You belong to the most prosperous family on earth. Redemption forbids and exempts you from being a beggar. A needy mentality will keep you in poverty; you can’t think poverty and taste prosperity. You won’t stop thinking poverty until you’ve caught the light from God’s word. It is poverty mentality that makes one poor. The cheapest way to be anointed for poverty is to think poor. Lack is not synonymous with black. You are not in need because you are black, you are in need because you are blind. What you can’t see, you can’t touch. You must come to a place where you say with conviction ‘I can never be poor.’ It comes by what you know and practice. (John 8:32) Prosperity does not answer to prayer; it answers to covenant practice. Prosperity is not a promise, so, you can‘t claim it. It is a covenant leaving you with a huge responsibility to be diligent and engage in covenant practice to see the required results. There is always what to do to walk in or experience prosperity as stated categorically in Joshua 1:8.
POVERTY GIVES YOU NO OPTIONS BUT PROSPERITY DOES.

If we are going to change the world, we need to have resources; we need to have options. One definition of poverty that instructs me is that ‘poverty is the absence or lack of options.’ We cannot make waves and make major moves if we do not have options. Prosperity, abundance, increase, wealth in material and financial terms provides a major avenue for option-creation. These teachings in this book are dedicated to the realization, maximization and actualization of the abundance that exists within our internal and external universes.
