Defendant, Carnival Cruise Lines, Inc. ("Carnival"), appeals the district courts denial of its motion for directed verdict and its motion for a new trial. Plaintiffs, Lottie and Robert Everett ("the Everetts"), cross appeal the district courts grant to defendant of remittitur.
