MADDOX, JUSTICE The questions presented by this appeal are summarized as follows: (1) Whether under the facts of this case Alabama law allows
recovery against a psychiatrist whose negligent diagnosis and treatment of a patient results in the patient's killing himself
and his two children, and (2) Whether under the facts of this case a psychiatrist who knows or should know that his patient
poses a threat of danger to himself or to others has a duty to warn or take other action in view of that knowledge.
