Di Antara

Di Antara means 'In Between' in Bahasa Malaysia. 21st century Malaysia is at a crossroads as old ways meet new, resulting in an interesting and dynamic place, full of colourful culture, and painful hypocrisy. Through photography Colin Boyd Shafer sets out to unveil these juxtapositions allowing the viewer to contemplate what Malaysia is, and where Malaysia will go. Themes such as race, religion, rights and culture are highlited. The book includes lyrics, poems, and writing by 17 influential Malaysians including Marina Mahathir, Dina Zaman, Irene Fernandez, Fahmi Reza, Kee Thuan Chye and Pang Khee Teik.
