Dream City is a photo essay about the early architecture of Finland's capital Helsinki.


The title refers to the various dreams that, starting 1809, turned burned down ruins into one of the most splendid cities in Europe.


Introduction chapters provide historical and cultural context. More than 70 photographs guide the reader on a romantic tour through the historical city center of Helsinki.
