Introduction This research is begun with a simple question to investigate the factors affecting low female participation in higher education of Peshawar, North West Frontier Province ("NWFP") in Pakistan. Many factors like social, culture, economic, religion, etc., are affecting female higher education on the sample group of this traditionalist Pukhtun society of Peshawar (the capital city of NWFP).
